Original is 11x14" on smooth Bristol, this piece is completely pointillism. It was created with multiple sizes of Pigma Micron pens and a gray ink wash.
I was inspired by a story of the great universe bird which carries the sun in its talons and the stars on its back and wings. With the movement of its great wings, the stars move too. This piece continues with my vintage celestial theme as well.
